The Coffin Police

I have been looking for what to use to open this new blog, was thinking of doing a story on "tips for relaxing" Lol, I will still do that, but firstly, I heard about this joke, and thought I should first start with it.
The story goes like this:


In a certain Town in one of the States of Nigeria, a certain man's mother died, and when the man was informed, he set out to purchase a casket or popularly known as coffin for his mother's burial.


After searching for a befitting coffin, he made the payment and hired a Pick-up van to drive him to his Village with the coffin, as his Mother's burial was going to be held that morning.
As they were approaching one of the junctions of a busy road, he noticed that there was a long hold-up of cars, on inquiring, he was told that the delay was caused by a Checking Point mounted by the Police men to extort money from the motorists.


As his hired car got close to the Police Checking point, the man could not wait again because he was being expected to be back to the village as soon as possible so that they would take the coffin to the mortuary.


Suddenly an idea came into his mind, and he told his driver to "watch that the road will become clear now". He got off the Van and with the coffin on his head, he walked straight towards the Police checking point. On approaching the place, the Police men were baffled and asked him where he was going with his load.
He replied that "he was angry with his people and never where he was buried before, so he is trying to go somewhere better".
On hearing this, the Police men ran into the nearest bush as fast as their legs could carry them, and suddenly, the road got cleared.
